1. Who we are
PropOrbit ("PropOrbit", "we", "us") provides satellite-derived property and asset intelligence. This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. For privacy questions, contact us at the address in section 11.
2. Data we collect
- Account data — name, email, phone, organisation, and authentication identifiers (including those from Google, Apple or Facebook if you choose social sign-in).
- Location & subject data — addresses, coordinates, and map selections you provide to generate a report.
- Billing data — handled by our payment processor (Stripe); we do not store full card numbers.
- Usage data — log data, device/browser information and analytics about how you use the service.
3. Imagery & third-party data
Reports may incorporate satellite or aerial imagery and contextual data from third-party providers. That imagery is licensed from those providers and remains subject to their terms; we present derived analysis, not ownership of the underlying imagery.
4. How we use data
- To create, deliver and improve your reports and dashboard.
- To operate billing, support, security and fraud prevention.
- To send service messages and, where permitted, product updates (you can opt out).
5. Legal bases
Where GDPR applies, we process data under one or more of: performance of a contract, legitimate interests, consent, and legal obligation.
6. Sharing
We share data with processors who help us run the service (e.g. hosting, payments, email, imagery providers) under appropriate agreements. We do not sell your personal data. We do not place advertising in the product.
7. Retention
We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, then for the period required by law or legitimate business need, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
8. International transfers
Data may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
9. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object or withdraw consent. To exercise these, contact us using section 11.
10. Security
We use technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Contact
Questions or requests: contact us. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
